Pillcards That Work for Your Pharmacy

Premium Protection. Economical Options. Same Trusted Performance.

Shamrock Pillcards are designed to simplify medication packaging, storage, and dispensing — all while supporting pharmacist accuracy and patient safety. Whether you need our premium high-strength card or a more economical solution, every Shamrock card provides the reliability your pharmacy depends on.

Two Product Tiers. One Reliable System.

We now offer two styles of pillcards to meet your operational and budget needs:

PREMIUM PILLCARDS

Built with a reinforced cardstock insert and aggressive adhesive, our premium cards offer maximum durability and protection.

  • Strong adhesive reduces the risk of accidental opening or pill displacement.
  • Cardstock support layer prevents bending or splitting during handling and transit.
  • Durable blister plastic holds shape under pressure for safer, more secure medication storage.

These features make Shamrock’s premium cards ideal for high-volume pharmacies or those who transport medications offsite.

STANDARD PILLCARDS

For pharmacies that don’t need a reinforced build, our standard pillcards offer the same visual layout and core functionality at a lower cost.

  • Simplified, thinner design
  • Economical adhesive for standard use

Same one-piece fold and foil-seal format
These cards are great for on-site medication storage or shorter-term use.

Understanding the Options

We offer a range of pillcard formats so you can select what’s right for your workflow:

By Dose Type

Single dose x Multidose
  • Single-Dose Cards: One medication per blister.

  • Multi-Dose Cards: Multiple medications combined in each blister for scheduled administration.

By Seal Method

  • Cold Seal Cards: Uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive. Simply load the tray, apply pressure with a roller, and seal — no equipment needed.

  • Heat Seal Cards: Uses a heat activated adhesive. Requires a heat sealing machine to activate the seal. Ideal for large-scale operations.

Bi-fold vs Tri-fold
  • Bi-Fold (Book Fold): Compact two-panel design with key label and dispensing areas. Medication instructions are provided separately.
