In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus to patients and personnel, hospital staff at a large hospital system in eastern Pennsylvania have begun applying color-coded dot labels to each individual entering the building.
By using high visibility 3⁄4” removable dot labels, the hospital staff are able to easily identify whether individuals entering the building have been screened for the virus. (Not wearing a dot means not screened.)
To help get the protocol in place, the team at Shamrock worked with the purchasing and infection control teams at the hospital. Together they identified the dot labels as a simple, yet cost-effective, solution which could be deployed quickly.
The 3⁄4” dot labels from Shamrock offered a range of colors, as well as a durable adhesive to keep the labels in place while needed, and clean removal from clothing when they were not.
